Being located across 250 UK locations can present a logistical challenge when trying to manage member communications, annual renewals, event equipment and branded promotional merchandise.
Solution
FT Solutions manage membership communications, including the print and mailing of annual renewal packs with a personalised membership card, for the NFU. FT Solutions also advise, source, store, and supply on demand over 300 brand approved items which include marketing print, POS equipment, branded merchandise and event show kits. These items are visible and orderable via a dedicated online platform.
Results
The NFU have greatly benefited from streamlining their marketing operations with FT Solutions. Members of the NFU are well informed with regular and relevant communications. The NFU have complete control over their brand and real-time visibility of stock usage and costs. All locations can quickly and easily access the marketing materials they need to promote the union.
Challenge On average, more than 190,000 passengers arrive and depart from Heathrow Airport every day. Heathrow wanted to establish a reward programme that would make every journey better and put Heathrow at the heart of passengers travel plans.
Solution Heathrow partnered with FT Solutions to manage the fulfilment of their loyalty programme called Heathrow Rewards. FT Solutions support Heathrow with the fulfilment of point of sale leaflets with cards attached for travellers to start collecting points straight away; personalised loyalty cards for those applying online which are mailed to new members with a letter; and mailings to those who have collected sufficient points to convert their points into security printed vouchers. The loyalty cards contain both a magnetic stripe and a bar code so that data can be captured by all retailers and restaurants at Heathrow.
Results Heathrow Rewards was launched in Spring 2013 and has been a success to date. Heathrow have been able to reward returning passengers with offers and vouchers for their favourite shops and restaurants to improve their journey and make Heathrow their airport of choice.

FT Solutions offered a solution to manage all of the charities member communications ranging from the print and mailing of new member packs with pass certificates through to annual renewal communications with a new PVC laminated membership card for the year ahead.
