Z 545 driver
Loft options - 9.5°, 10.5°
Adjustability - A 12-way hosel tunes face angle, lie and loft. The centre of gravity position can be changed by switching 3g and 7g sole weights.
Key technology - A new Booster cup-face construction and variable face thickness are designed to offer improved forgiveness and distance, while Dual Speed Technology –a higher balance-point shaft, lighter grip and slightly heavier head – help deliver faster clubhead speeds and ball speeds for more length off the tee.
Test Report – Neil Tappin
This is a classically shaped driver. It looks great behind the ball, but possibly a little intimidating for those lacking confidence from the tee. I liked the fact that it has a silver face, so at least you see some loft at address against the dark crown. The adjustability on offer is impressive, with big differences in spin rates when the head weights and loft were changed. An expert fitter will be able to set up this driver to suit a range of golfers. If great looks are high on your test list, alongside the ability to tweak a driver, then you should definitely consider trying the Srixon Z 545.
